As a millennial there are two things I haven't heard about in a long while: The ozone layer, and second hand smoke.

I think it's good to remember those, and know that problems are solvable.

Also, I’d say Sam Lake/Remedy is another good example. Control feels very auteur-like.

The world would be a way better place if more people had this approach about harmless popular things that they personally do not enjoy.

I personally love most of his games, and I applaud your approach to this. 👏🏼

I don’t get people who poo-poo on the things they don’t like as if it were a hill worth dying on.

There are plenty of things I don’t enjoy (like Soul-like games), but I’m happy for the people that love and enjoy them.
