It tracks 14 indicators across Scotland. Some of the data is encouraging - 97% of adults don't experience violent crime, homicides at lowest level since 1976 (45 in 2024-25), and non-sexual violence down 18% since 2008-09.

Monitoring framework to support the delivery of the Violence Prevention Framework for Scotland.
The Scottish Government also published the Violence Prevention Monitoring Framework alongside the progress report we shared earlier.
The Framework will help identify where efforts need to focus next. Useful baseline for anyone working in prevention.
