I think in this case "pet friendly" means the 2 x 6 patch of astroturf with a drain in the middle & a hose next to it that takes up 25% of the "back yard," the rest of which is 3 uncomfortable cushions next to a bubbling wading pool, & a small table.
A big thing which made this appealing is this is a pet friendly home & my bro & I have our dog with us. We preferred to have a bigger home base than a hotel room.
Lesson learned, though. I doubt we'll use airbnb again anytime soon.
