For what it's worth, I am very excited for Lanterns. The team behind it is great, the actors are great, and doing a True Detective/No Country for Old Men thing with Green Lanterns is something I think would be cool!

Lots of folks asking how Dune 3 has the IMAX exclusivity for a few weeks over Avengers Doomsday, when it is quite simple.
Doomsday was supposed to release in May. Dune had the date and the exclusivity before Doomsday shifted to December.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has been a nice surprise for me. Glad I didn’t skip it based on prior Game of Thrones stuff.
Had my projector professionally calibrated last week, and the results are unreal.
Watched all three LOTR extended editions this weekend and I don’t think I’ve ever seen them like that before.
Imagine having zero faith or confidence in a movie and still spending $7m on a 30 second commercial spot on it.

Honestly, all I need from Star Wars at this point is a 4K blu-ray of Season 2 of Andor, and then they can go make whatever nonsense they want. Let me hold that season in my hands, and we're good.

I think it works on a movie like Sinners where it’s all intentional. Total pain in the ass for anyone who has a scope screen or wants to use proper masking though haha
Seen lots of folks upset online about the IMAX scenes from Tron: Ares being exclusive to Disney+.
That movie was clearly framed for 2.39:1 and there is a metric ton of dead space in the IMAX footage.
