My main money thing is figuring how to find stuff on the internet. Mostly finding people in the context of trying to offer them jobs. I consult, train and offer certification via https://sourcingcertification.com/. Slightly less new here, now.

This is real unfair to Canal Street.

Man is juiceless as institutional fruit drink.

This is not my business. This is not my business. This is not my *god*damned business.

A helpful mantra for my people at this moment.

It is an existential imperative that we begin a serious global dialogue about how β€˜experts’ as the media uses the term, consistently lag behind us laymen when it comes to Knowing Some Bullshit When We See It.

This is true and not to undercut or anything but because I am me (and hate attributed video with a passion), this Statler the bat and he died in 2021.

Got about that far down the rabbit hole looking for the OG and figured it might save someone else a lil emotional whiplash.

This place is getting much worse for alt-text recently! Include it for your own images and don't repost images that don't have it (except to add alt text yourself if you feel it's important to share it anyway).

Finally, a question in my weight class, lol.

Partly racism, partly because it will anyone with a financial stake in the status quo will get fucked.

The mix varies by region, a bit.

(BTW, I am very much not arguing against rezoning for higher density per se, in case that was otherwise unclear.)

I don't think I agree.

Can the 20 largest cities in the US house the entire population?

Would it be a good thing if they did?

How many areas do we need?

Not rhetorical questions, you seem more knowledgeable here.

I dunno that that is a fair presumption? Like, I didn't get the impression that the goal was to recreate the problems faced by current urban centers in miniature many times over throughout the country.

But to take some of the pressure off current urban centers by creating more.
