Someone ruined Harry Potter for me today. Each wizard in England buys one wand from Olivander before joining Hogwarts for between 1 and 10 galleons. A galleon is worth Β£10. There are about 30 wizards in each year at Hogwart's. So Olivander's turnover is Β£300-Β£3000 P/A. How does he even pay his rent?
