Washburn Rural High School, Topeka, KS
Additionally, attendees will get to learn from their amazing peers in four breakout sessions. Topics range from Pre-k - High School, and include: Building a Reading Culture, Passive Programming, Book Making, Collection Development, Getting the most out of Destiny, and more!
We will have two amazing featured speakers:

- David Lee King - Public Librarian and AI Expert

The recipient will maintain membership within KASL through the two-year period for the purpose of verifying employment.
The applicant must have an interest in school librarianship, be in good health, and be a resident of Kansas.
The scholarship is given gratis, providing that the recipient, upon graduation, serves at least two years in a Kansas school library media center.
The recipient of the scholarship will be given a free KASL student membership for that school year. Selection criteria include:
The applicant must have fulfilled the admission requirements of the school of her/his choice.
The KASL Founders Scholarship is intended to lead to a masterβs degree (or certification) in library education. The scholarship is presented in the spring to be used by a student in a Kansas college or university. The amount given for the fall semester is $750.00.
Applications are now being accepted for the KASL Founders Scholarship to be awarded for the fall semester. You can access the application via the qr code on the flyer or this link: bit.ly/4a8npsf
