Ein Comic mit vier Bildern von "islieb". Bild 1: Eine Figur sagt mit aufgerissenem Mund: „Die Realität bedrückt mich!“. Eine zweite Figur antwortet: „Lies nen Roman, so kannst du in eine andere Welt abtauchen.“ Bild 2: Die erste Figur sitzt nun mit einem Buch auf dem Boden und blickt zweifelnd. In einer Gedankenblase steht: „Das wird nicht wirklich klappen...“ Bild 3: Die Figur liest stumm in dem Buch. Der Hintergrund ist komplett weiß. Bild 4: Die Figur lächelt leicht beim Lesen. Der zuvor weiße Hintergrund hat sich in ein Muster aus bunten, abstrakten Farbflächen verwandelt.

The reason RAM prices went up 4x is that a massive amount of not-yet-manufactured memory was bought with money that doesn't really exist to be put into GPUs that haven't been made yet, to be installed in data centers that haven't been built, powered by infrastructure that may never exist, to satisfy demand that isn't actually there, in order to generate profits that are mathematically impossible.
RAM-Preise explodieren, weil nicht existierender Speicher mit nicht existierendem Geld gekauft wurde, für nicht existierende GPUs, in nicht existierenden Rechenzentren, mit nicht existierender Energieversorgung, für eine nicht existierende Nachfrage, für Gewinne, die mathematisch unmöglich sind. 🤷♂️
