One of his regular trips away is pretty remote, so contact is a bit sporadic. This time he was in a nice hotel with WiFi so he wouldn’t leave me alone 😆 You can’t beat seeing each other in person though.

How was it? Ours had rather a lot of puddles.

Husband is on his way home after being away for work again for the last couple of weeks. I’ll be doing parkrun this morning and then we should both be back around the same time, ready to veg out and catch up.

I was excited last night when I noticed the security light was on out front. Peeped out the window expecting to see some lovely wildlife, and it was just some numpty’s dog off the lead being nosy.

I’d like to try some Terry Pratchett, would that be a good series to start with?

I’m so bad at decisions when it comes to food, I kind of want everything. I’d definitely be going for a sushi selection, and I’d hope it would include a truffle asparagus nigiri.

Flood plain avenue

The one today was Kordia, I don’t know anything about them. The bigger Sherwood one hasn’t changed.

I don’t think there were as many stalls as last summer, but it’s not the same organisers so it was a different selection from usual. It was fairly busy. I don’t think it’s worth a special trip out, but if you’re in town anyway then it’s a great spot for lunch.

There was a small vegan market at Sneinton today. I also got a hot dog 😍 I’m not a tidy enough baker to attempt Battenberg, I can do tasty but not neat.

Slice of vegan battenberg washed down with a big cup of tea. Best bit of the day.

I’ve skipped parkrun today, I’m saving my energy for a longer run tomorrow. I’m currently sat on the sofa with a snoring cat on my lap, bliss.
