@lminiero.it this is not a guitar, but it is interesting www.hackster.io/news/turi-sc...
Thank you for spending your time explaining that mic situation. I know we can always count on you.
They fixed the issues and probably most of the them are because they rushed to put it in the market ASAP. But with so many security issues being reported in a daily basis, adding a microphone and not listing it in the specs (whatever it is used for) is asking for trouble and distrust.
Hello @jeffgeerling.com. I remember that last year you posted about the nanoKVM. I read this post now and thought maybe it would relevant to share it with your audience : telefoncek.si/2025/02/2025...
I'm pretty disappointed that there is no RTC devroom this year. It is a room that it was always full and it is a subject that is pretty relevant. #FOSDEM #rtc #voip #webrtc
www.netguru.com/blog/web-4-0 Since Web 3.0 didn't really worked, now the new hype is Web 4.0, trying to push again the Blockchain but adding AI to make it more interesting. π

Interesting, I experienced the same debugging on repeat with Claude and Copilot chat, but it was related to the excess of old data in the chat kept by vscode on the extension's directory. Deleting and starting a fresh new chat made Claude leave this loop. #ai? #llm chrisbeckman.dev/posts/the-ba...
However I was trying Claude 4 and it looks like it raises the bar, but, unfortunately since it is in preview, my tests were interrupted in the middle of the tests, but based on what I saw, it works infinitely better than the other models (testing with Github copilot, agent/edit modes) 2/2
nmn.gl/blog/ai-scam I can't agree more. I've been using AI and it can be really helpful with comments, documentation and UI, but for more complex tasks I already shared the pain of having to explain and interact several times to achieve the expected result, so definitely it is not ready yet 1/2
I have the Switch and I will buy the new one, but first show me the new Mario game (and no, Mario Kart doesn't count) π

Today the XMPP Standards Foundation publishes an Open Letter to urge Meta to adopt XMPP for messaging interoperability. Itβs time for real interoperability. Letβs make it happen. Blog post: xmpp.org/2025/03/open.... Open Letter: xmpp.org/announcement....
It could be worst, they could have integrated with an AI to provide you with a "smart AI cycle" , whatever it would means. It is all about the marketing, trends and buzzwords. Unfortunately, in several cases it means a worse product/service, but who cares, they are surfing the wave.
I backed a new release for #sipexer, a modern and flexible SIP testing cli tool written in Go with support for SIP over UDP/TCP/TLS/WebSocket: github.com/miconda/sipe... #opensource #voip #telephony #testing
Hey @tsearle.sipstacks.com ,could you please add me and Paul to the RTC dinner list? Thanks π
Hey guys ( @saghul.bsky.social , @lminiero.it , @tsearle.sipstacks.com ), is there any plans to have some beers on Friday night? Like a pre non "official" RTC dinner? π
Unfortunately we all saw it coming along these years. #Sangoma never had the same vibe than Digium regarding Asterisk, looks like they never really wanted it. And what they did with Astricon is so sad. Sometimes I think they don't know what to do with Asterisk or how it fits in the company strategy..
Oh, I see. 4th and 5h Feb, makes it hard to attend both.
FOSDEM trip booked. Who else is going? #FOSDEM @danjenkins.bsky.social @lminiero.bsky.social
