Love it! How long did you play it? And how many knights did you have?

The question is what kind of fallout game you want to do. If you want the exploration part you would need some form of (h)exploration procedures and crafting/foraging. But other then that I think you can pull it off just via the adventure
Uh thatβs a great collection right there! Iβve played mausritter and mythic bastionland and theyβre both awesome and some of my favorite games
I ran the one in the book for my son (7yo) and it worked out great π
I love this book! Eager to run it sometimes in the near future
I love dcc. Its soo flavorful
This looks like a great time to be had at any table! Check it out, F.I.S.T. Is an awesome game.
Damn I need to play that soon!
I know that problem! Some systems just need a bunch of rolls to sing. Ran into similar problems when I played my first pbta style games
Insanity! See it works π
Iβd be down for that but probably the time zones wonβt work out :(
Frontier Scum is sooo good
Used the rainy afternoon to smother my little plastic nurgle boos with some healthy amounts of oils. #killteam #minipainting #40k
Hell yeah! Amandas art makes this a must buy
Thatβs super cool and exciting. AV is such a cool and interesting setting!
Love her blog! DIY Efgame is my favorite word for indie ttrpgs
The borgs are also fun if your group is vibing with the tone. Goblin grinder for MB and reaper repo for cy-Borg are super fun. Ran both of them at my flgs. Other famous one shot zero prep games would be honey heist and escape from Dino island
I think mausritter is perfect for that undertaking. Itβs very self explanatory as a setting (youβre mice) itβs free and a perfect way of proving that you donβt need a a gazillion of options to make for a fun and interesting session
Itβs a great module I ran it once full and two one shot incursions in it and already think about the next run
That would be so awesome!
I love Grock! It was my first exposure to a full on gonzo science fantasy game. Still haven't run or played it but would totally do if the chance arises.
Thatβs true thatβs why I think well written and chosen examples of play are so helpful. Into the odd shines here. Especially with more abstract rules light systems they can be a huge help for players and gms alike
Go and pledge! Itβs such a cool game and while youβre at it make sure to check out Caseyβs skirmish games as well. Theyβre some of the best skirmish games out there and a ton of fun to play
Go support Evlyn's project, she likes drawing weird little guys and Mork Borg is chock full o them.
and she feeds birds at her local coffee shop!
I can totally see that. But that was a bit my point that there is not much good GM advice in osr books. For example ose has basically nothing in it. Where other games like mausritter are very clear on what the scope of the system is and how to run a session
Exceptions here are into the odd, mausritter and the black hack (amongst others Iβm sure). All of them feature a great practical gem guide that helped me as a noob a great deal in understanding how to run these games.
I kind of disagree, as a dm who started out in the osr. I think an easy to play system is also easy to run. Itβs more on the adventures that they are often extremely sparse in information how to run them well and on system side that these games often lack a proper gm guide.
The character sheet filled (German)
Ran a game of @diogooldskull.bsky.social Kosmosaurs for my son as a duet game and we had a lot of fun! Highly recommend :) weβre looking forward to the next episode!
Yeah Cy_Borg is super fun. With the high potential damage output and the low hp it really conveys a great cyberpunk feeling. So far all Borgs where really fun, if I would need to bring them in order it would be: Pirate Borg, Cy_Borg, MΓΆrkBorg. I am eager to play CorpBorg and Frontier Scum
The book is great in sheer table usability. I ran it for my daughter and her friends as a first ttrpg exp. It really gets out of it's way at the table and is very easy to manage. I'd say it's the perfect system for short to medium length adventures/campaigns.
