I don't know... This seemed like a typical extreme wind match, which we've seen examples of in years past (at ChiCity in 2023 comes to mind). The wind is a force multiplier for the team pressing with it at their backs, so you just need to have the better half with the wind than your opponent does.
Just finished watching this match (was on vacation last week) and had the same thought about "blue collar" play. She needs to watch Nguyen, Cat Rapp, etc. if she doesn't think we have players that fit that description.
For sure. I wasn't particularly surprised by this outcome. Definitely more surprised by Rochester's earlier 4-1 detonation of CCDL. That's a real good result for the Loons.
Haven't watched this one yet, but Rochester had a center back sent off with a red halfway through the 1st, which I'd imagine pretty significantly affected the balance of the game.

Is an improved English translation in the cards and/or is that something someone is already working on? Because, man... the existing one is functional and great for its age, but there is plenty of room to make it better.

Teams seem to be able to dress 20 players for a game this year, but I *think* still only play 18. That should make for more interesting sub decisions.

No worries. I've seen weird slight differences when looking around online, too. I'm now wondering if some of them were influenced by SoM as well.
It only matters from a nuance perspective, but I'm curious as to where you're getting 黒魔導士 as the original character name for the 'Dark Wizard'. The PS1 version I extracted has 黒魔導師 in all of the Truth Mirror texts for that guy.

Also curious as to how the other characters refer to him in dialogue. In the original, it's just 魔導師 (sorcerer/wizard/mage). The 'dark' part is only in the Truth Mirror description.
Do you happen to have all of the updated SoM text available somewhere? I've done a lot of work with the original script, but the differences would be really interesting to see.
