Graphic for Long Covid Awareness Month. At the top is a teal and gray ribbon labeled Long Covid and the text “March is Long Covid Awareness Month.” The main heading reads “Things I Wish I Had Known Before Getting Long Covid #1.” The graphic states: “I wish I’d known that ‘pushing through’ fatigue could permanently disable me.” Below it explains that our culture teaches hard work pays off and rest is weakness, but with Long Covid pushing through does not lead to recovery and can lead to months or years of setback. The Long Covid Collective website appears at the bottom.

“Pushing through” fatigue can permanently disable you.

Many of us were taught to work harder when we feel tired. With Long Covid, that instinct can make the illness worse. Pushing through does not lead to recovery. It can lead to months or years of setback.

March is Long Covid Awareness Month.

Every COVID infection adds risk, not protection. The more times someone is infected, the higher their risk of developing Long COVID.

Reducing infections is one of the most important ways to protect long-term health. The Five Pillars of Protection help lower risk by layering prevention strategies:

COVID is not “just a cold.” Even mild or asymptomatic infections can cause lasting health effects, damaging blood vessels and organs, affecting the brain, and weakening the immune system.

The AMA has released a statement that clearly states the delay in the Triage Liason Physicians was a result of government not following their own process..

And the disintegration of the healthcare system only added more confusion.

This comes after Smith blamed them again.

The math doesn't lie.

Danielle Smith spent $17 million on "Alberta is Calling" to recruit new residents. But spent $0 on the infrastructure to support them.

Now that the bills are due and the services are failing, she’s pointing the finger at the very people she invited.
