Did it. Reinstalled PBI, cleared registers. The only way was to add clients account to windows logon.

I had this annoying bug where I had to sign in 8-12 times or click cancel for 500 times before I could use PBI. Fun times. Bad for cardiovascular health and unsecured objects on your desk.

It's sometimes downright evil. One bug (admittedly in then preview features) corrupted a dataset and powerBI install.
