Never too late! I’ll do this project for years to come I imagine. Thanks for the suggestion.
@cameronbarnett.bsky.social featured on @radio.wpsu.org.web.brid.gy Poetry Moment with “Emmett Till Haunts the Library in Money, MS.” Through humor and horror, the poem asks us not to look back in nostalgia, but forward into responsibility. Listen here: radio.wpsu.org/2026-02-23/p... #WPSU

Hey folks, I need some help for a project on Fahrenheit 451 with my 8th grade class: if you had to choose one (or a few) texts to memorize and embody in a dystopian world where texts and reading are repressed, what would you choose? And, if you want, why would you choose it?

A yellow bridge in front of a city background with three banners reading "POST-GAZETTE STRIKERS WILL WIN".
BREAKING: We won!
Today the 3rd Circuit Court ordered the @post-gazette.com to restore our contract it illegally tore up 5 years ago. That’s our health care, PTO, right to a 40-hr. work week, short-term disability and so much more we’ve struck for 3+ years.

Today, as I was teaching “All Summer in a Day” and its themes on time passing, I made some point about people fearing aging/loss of childhood and one of the boys in my class addressed me out of nowhere like “Nah, you good Unc!” and I couldn’t even be mad that he took that swipe, I just had to laugh.
Forgot I even had this account and was like, maybe I should find another void to stare into, so this one seemed good 😂
