Since there's been a huge uptick in signups to BlueSky in the last few days, it's logical that daily users will be higher for now.

Let's see in a few months.

They’re showing only US users and daily active users.
When there’s an uptick of people signing up for a new platform, they’ll be there every day to see what’s new and exciting.

This is daily active users which is not a commonly used metric in social media. Daily active users will probably fall in the next few months once excitement is gone.
