Oh you utter bastard.
I expect the people getting noisy about birds dying are entirely aware of how many people (and birds) are killed by fossil fuels burned for electricity production.
We're pleased to be featured in this Commons Library research briefing on #WoodBurning.
The briefing sets out the #Health effects of burning, the issues local authorities have enforcing Smoke Control Areas, and the proposals in the current consultation to reduce emissions from burning.
I wanted to focus on the financial side to highlight the lack of support for the kids who are being born as a result of Trump policy.
I didn't mean to come across as if I was correcting you.
I saw one analysis putting it down to being unwanted, but also there are financial rationales behind abortions.
Financial support for poor children is not something your typical pro-lifer seems to be in favour of though.
Donald Chump, more like.
Relax, give it monthly and the asphalt will be covered in little black oil stains, designating it perfectly as a parking lane.
There are good arguments that legalised abortion decreases crime.
The Republicans are aware of this.
Hello everyone, how are y'all?
Seems like such an opportunity to bury bad news, why not get two bits out in the same week?

The Department of Justice (DoJ) admitted to witholding nearly 48,000 Epstein files, including materials that might implicate Trump. Although the DoJ stated the files were taken offline for review, it is required to release all files by federal...

Days before US launched a major military operation in Iran, FBI Director Kash Patel fired a dozen staff from CI-12 the FBI counterintelligence unit tracking foreign spies operating on US soil.
They were investigating President Donald Trumpβs alleged retention of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago
I'm concerned about my 10-yo being as scared as I am.
My Dutch wife, OTOH, wants to buy her a book about sexuality.
A pop-up book about sexuality.
No no, you're in your prime, Mr President.
Can't remote-exploit my bike.
Local exploits include loosening the headset bolts. Which is zero-click unless you use a ratchet wrench.

The worst where we live are the men on the way to the football club. Going to watch their kids or even with kids in the car.
Break the law AND throw toys from pram if called put on it by vulnerable members of the same society.
Drivers not only go down it the wrong way, but they drive faster! Is it because they feel like they're less likely to get caught?
On the few occasions we've challenged anyone, the response is unbelievably childish. Especially for someone who's judged themselves responsible enough to drive a 2T SUV.
It is deliberate and it is a complete failure to take responsibility.
Ours is a one-way street, intended to reduce traffic through the neighbourhood and protect kids at the nearby school and football club.
And f'ing enforce it !
My village is 30bkm/h but the average driver is well over 40, not uncommon over 50.
50 in a 30 is not an accident or a mistake but a deliberate choice to speed and risk killing kids. A deliberate choice to speed and risk smearing a 5 year old's blood over your windscreen.
I firmly believe there are people who would still be alive today if not for the government delaying the blanket 30km/hr speed limits for urban areas. More will die while we wait for local councils to act #spΓ©irgorm
Definitely. Deaths dropped by 19% (100 people) are alive in the year following the introduction in Wales.

Littering too.
I'm quoted in this BBC article on Wales's 20 mph default speed limit www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... I'm even given slightly more coverage than the guy who somehow reckons not driving above 20 all the time will break your car π
Hopefully many of those who were so vocal before introduction won't bother again. It's pretty boring hearing "...and β in his view β less safe" all over again.
But even so, it's very hard to argue more people should be hurt or killed so you can briefly go faster between traffic lights.
