Following a hearing at the Old Bailey, 12 more of the UK Political Prisoners known as the ‘Filton24’ will be freed.
This includes many of the hunger strikers, as well as five prisoners who have been held since Nov ‘24.
None of them have been convicted of a crime.
Are we seriously sending another Labour prime minister to oversee a part of the world they have helped to destroy?
The people of Gaza deserve better then to have our deeply unpopular prime minister serve as one of their colonial administrators.

🚨 Elbit Systems has lost the £2bn army training contract to Raytheon UK.
While we welcome the loss of the contract to a subsidiary of Israel's largest weapons manufacturer, we must oppose these investments into "preparations for war" all while welfare and public investments are being cut.

We welcome the news that one of our demands has been met. Barclays is the worst of a bad bunch however we recognise Lloyds, the new bank, is not perfect. We will continue to press for a real alternative and keep up the pressure, until Islington council fully divests & meets the rest of our demands.

The Ministry of Justice is still refusing to meet with the lawyers or families of hunger strikers being held on remand.
This is a shambolic dereliction of duty.
I have written to David Lammy, again, imploring him to do the right thing before it is too late.

Italy was on strike in solidarity with Palestinians last Monday.
Hundreds of thousands demonstrated blocking roads, ports & railway stations. In Rome, many drivers found themselves stuck in traffic — & were happy about it, saluting demonstrators & condemning Israel’s genocide against Palestinians.

People power stops Italy’s energy giant and genocide-profiteer Eni from exporting oil to Israel!
We welcome the council’s commitments but we are urgently pushing them to do more to take meaningful steps to cut financial ties with Israel.
