Tuesday was Housing Day at City Hall. After robust public comment and productive conversations, I’m proud of the policies we were able to pass. But we still have work to do!

The world is coming to San José and we’re ready! Our new visitor center on Third and San Carlos gives us all a new way to be ambassadors for San José, by helping visitors discover our neighborhoods, local businesses, and events in 2026 — and beyond.

Sharks know just how important healthy teeth are to growing up strong, especially S.J. Sharkie! San José’s favorite fish and the Sharks Community joined us at Lowell Elementary for a dental screening with the Healthier Kids Foundation — along with a $40,000 grant for their Dental First program. 🦈
