Scenes from 3 Sisters Loop trail with Taralynn, Otis & Gordon!About halfway thru any big endurance event I’m struck by how much we have to be grateful for. We’re lucky to have our struggles, lucky to share them with each other, and luckiest of all that - in the midst of several billion years of geological indifference - we share this brief spark of life with all the other flora & fauna. The feeling doesn’t last but the lesson does.Good thing too, because right after the run I got about as Covid-sick as I’ve ever been.I was sick for a week, and spent the week after (last week) under a dark cognitive cloud, feeling unfocused & uncharacteristically pessimistic.Gratitude is a great motivator tho, and I stayed productive. Now that I’m back to normal it’s especially nice to look thru these run videos and get back to their glowing memories.
