Is that not literally toxic masculinity?
Is that not literally toxic masculinity?
Is it fair to say that the stupidity is due enough to news coverage that hasn't featured analysis of the dynamics of the US economy? Even the NPR news shows have been guilty of it.
Mark Wayne = hard to fathom
Years ago, while working at Warner Bros, I and the other employees received a piece of the Berlin Wall encased in lucite with the inscription: 'This is a remnant of the Berlin Wall, which stood as a barrier against the free exchange of ideas and culture. You helped bring this wall down.' Now, wow...
Certainly looks like it. I feel for the families that have to listen to every graphic detail.
Fellow Americans, this lack of class is happening in our name.
At work once, folly presaging itself.
For sure, from his point of view, but the NYTimes?
Wrong story! How about insisting on justification of ANY option to the American public. Why is opening this can of worms necessary?
The important thing isβ¦put the ideas out thereβ¦
There is apparently no bottom to the rage-baiting/thirst trap barrel. Perhaps one can appreciate the creativity involved?
This really shows the organization of the march to where we now are. First clear the path...
Unexpectedly brought a tear to my eyes.
Will certainly beat the box office of Withering Looks a couple of weeks ago.
This needs closer attention. This is ghastly and echoes a horrible history one thought would never again happen.
Things changed in the mid-80s. Dynasty & John Hughes films, Reaganβ¦
As someone who grew up in DC with journalism/media aspirations, the demise of the Washington Post & CBS News is beyond heartbreaking. Fade out on the newspapers looping through the presses in the Post's front windows & CBS's Eye at 2020 M St (the vision no longer so clear).
Constantly confirming my intuitions about him dating back to the Clinton Admin.
Guessing "two weeks."
John Mitnick @JohnMitnick I helped to establish DHS in 2002 and 2003 and later had the homeland security portfolio as a White House Counsel and served as General Counsel of the Department. I am enraged and embarrassed by DHSβs lawlessness, fascism, and cruelty. Impeach and remove Trumpβnow. George Conway βοΈπΊπΈ @gtconway3d The deadly shooting in Minneapolis today was a straight-up execution of a protester by Trump's federal brownshirts. The thugs wrestled him to the ground. They pistol-whipped him, then shot him multiple times. They murdered him.
Beyond helping establish DHS itself in 2003, Mr. Mitnick was a senate-confirmed Trump choice for General Counsel for DHS in his first term. I've talked with him a few times, and he's not a man for hyperbole. So bear that in mind when you see him calling out DHS's "lawlessness, fascism, and cruelty."
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.
Have we heard yet from the two people who were being pushed by ICE officers, who the victim had been trying to help?
Just want to remind folk of Trump's scuttling a border bill before the election. He didn't want to resolve border issues the right way. He wanted a heavy-handed approach. www.cnn.com/2024/01/25/p...
Think it's worth compiling a quick list of witness video protocols β things witnesses can do on the spot to make sure their contents actually gets out, live stream, uploads, etc.
Thank you!! I've been yelling this since Trump's first term. I saw the Gadsden Flag flown all about New Hampshire and Maine in trucks or on homes along with the Confederate flag. So many Revolutionary war patriots rolling in their graves there.
Show us the data of the detainees, who are they, where are they being held, what has each been charged with.
If ICE can compile a list of protesters to retaliate against, they can produce a list of who they detained and where they are being held.
The same project both NPR news shows repeatedly dismissed prior to the election, when coverage of it really mattered.
I've been watching videos of some of the action with great dismay.
One of the problems of this kind of "thinking"/discourse is that normally leaders have operated as their role. For Trump this is all personal, we are his Kingdom. Tillis, you can like Trump, but please separate that from the crown he has given himself.
