Good of him to start (another) one just so they don't have to be a few years late like the times before.

And/or the rugbies.
Totally half Scottish this season, I'm sure ๐
The only thing they had going for them was that they weren't Chelsea.
Nobody "neutral" is hoping Chelsea go any further in the Cup after that display.
Modern football innit? Arsenal, Chelsea, they all seem to have to be proper cunts to win stuff.
The day West Ham really go down that route is the day I give up. I'm also glad that every West Ham fan I've ever seen comment on it hated Paqueta diving.
Italy or Scotland? Both were great really.
On days like this I like to emphasise that I'm half Scottish.
Is this the Lovejoy reboot?
A still photo from the 'Stray' videogame, 2022. A ginger cat sits on a crate in a dimly lit street.
I still love this. Can't think why...
Molly the Ginger Cat asleep next to me on a beige sofa.
Started to go down the old "people we have known and liked and loved but haven't seen in decades" wormhole on the Googles.
It's a fool's game tbh. I know it, you know it, & I know it enough now to pull away just before the going gets rough.
Anyway, Molly's here now, so sod the past.
That looks fabulous Joanna!
And I always prefer to think that at least a third of everyone else at any occasions like that are just as nervous for so many of their own personal reasons as we are.
It's only the arrogant bastards we have to watch out for.
That was about 6.00pm on NYE 2023 into 2024. I loved how it was so relaxed at that time.
I'd recognise that bar in a blink.
LH. Oh dear.
Weston when it was the epicentre of the trippity hoppity world.
Ah yes. That probably makes a bit more sense ๐
That looks delicious, Huw ๐
Sadly I can't eat fish, but I bet that would be just as good with a substitute for the salmon.
Something like a pork pie, say.
Phwoooarrrr ๐
This is very true. I must admit that after having lived in London for 22 years, it was a shock to discover that trains between e.g. Derby and Leicester effectively stopped at around 10.00pm on a Saturday night.
Ohhh, so could I.
*excuse me, I'm just logging off for a short period of... contemplation*
Tables outside at a restaurant in the sunshine. A white kacketed waiter is taking somebody's order.
The Locanda Cipriani as seen from across the gardens of lawns and trellisseed walks.
A trellissed path in a garden.
Photos of previous customers - Elton John and Ernest Hemingway.
The Locanda Cipriani on Torcello restaurant was very nice (and it was our 20th wedding anniversary in 2023 - well worth it for that), but it's a beautiful island to visit anyway. Very tranquil.

I was at school with the son of Christopher Wood, who wrote the screenplays for the 'Confessions of a ....' films - and also for The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker.
He was a busy man in the 1970s - just in that one decade he wrote an astonishing 40 novels and 8 screenplays.
Hoorah for our plucky south London brethren.
That is indeed a fabulous tail ๐โโฌ๐ฅฐ
Harsh* but fair.
*not harsh

The 'Sunday Roast' one there is a bit near the knuckle.
