I was on the fence about whether to give pokopia a try but this has put me right off. No way i have time for this sort of nonsense.
I'd expect this FOMO crap in a mobile game. Not one i've just paid 60 quid for.

Texting took off massively in the UK cos people didn't even want to talk to the people they knew when they could quickly write something. Even when they had to pay for every single message. The idea we'd voluntarily chat to our PCs doesn't understand what people are actually like.

At the time people probably assumed Ali meant this was a bad thing. It turns out she was boasting!
If she's campaigning on changing the law to make something illegal then financially benefitting from the it at the same time is a bad look. As the housing minister it's even worse. Will you still be defending her if and when she resigns?
But she didn't sell it did she. She re-rented it a few weeks later after having raised the rent. Specifically an action she and labour is supposed to be outlawing.
