Today, I am going to try to work on commissions again, while being gentle with my mental state recovering. I still might not be as responsive to messages aside from commission-related ones, but I'll see where I go from here~

Thanks to those who sent me positive messages~ I really appreciated them and I did read through each and every one I got, even if I didn't respond (I took some social downtime yesterday as well to just reset).

I was in a better headspace than I had been in almost a week, and for the first time in almost 3 days, I was actually able to draw. So needless to say, I'm doing better.

So updates: Now that I am not on the medication, my world has improved by basically 100%. My spouse stayed home with me to make sure that there wasn't any negative side effects for stopping the medication, and there wasn't~

Life has been so all over the place and my spouse has been a really support in this time because I have really, really needed someone and they have really came through for me. So...just be patient while commissions and other art is a bit slow. ;v;

Obviously, I won't go into what the medication is for, nor my medical history or info, but I wanted to give an update on why I might have been acting odd or why commission work may have been a little slow/off as of late.

So to my commissioners, I am HORRIBLY sorry if commissions are slow right now. I promise that I am working on them, I just have to get this medication settled out because this is the worst reaction I have ever had to any medication before.

Needless to say, this medication is NOT going to work for me and I am calling my doctor and getting off of this medication. It has been scary, depressing, and has really disconnected me from my friends, work, and enjoyment and life.

I even had to stop with commissions yesterday because I almost had a breakdown because I couldn't make sense of putting down simple lines for a FURY.

I wake up with everything right in the world only to have it all crash by midday thinking on how worthless my work and I are and why I even bother with it, I can't even take joy in my special interests.

People in my own Discord server make me too depressed to even engage with them anymore, I can't even make sense of my art enough to draw properly,

I have been so horrendously depressed and incapable due to effects from new medication that I am on that I cannot do things anymore and doing my Moon Phase family reference base fills are the only things that I can accomplish anymore.
