Do you think it would help if we all sent messages to the people in charge and asked them when we might be able to expect another update?

13.03.2026 19:32 πŸ‘ 2 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Agreed. We could at least have one thing to hold us over until more news breaks. I haven't been this antsy and nervous in a long time. Granted, I finally have working ADHD meds so I'm super-focussed now, which might be making it worse, but that doesn't change the fact that something needs to happen.

Review of Our Town:

We went to see Our Town at the Rose Theatre yesterday evening, and it truly exceeded our expectations.

From the very beginning, the production drew us in completely. We laughed, we teared up, and more than once we found ourselves with goosebumps. Our Town captures the quiet beauty of everyday life in a small rural community, portraying both its joys and its hardships with remarkable sensitivity.

What makes the play so powerful is its simplicity. The entire performance feels like a heartfelt tribute to village life as it once was, reminding the audience of the significance hidden in ordinary moments.

A special highlight of the evening was Michael Sheen’s portrayal of the Stage Manager. His performance was engaging and deeply convincing, guiding the audience through the story with warmth and authority.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.

We finally got to see Our Town at the Rose Theatre, and of course we had to write a review.

Jon Hamm explains how Mayor Jerry from β€˜HOPPERS’ is unlike real-life politicians.

β€œHe sees that there’s a different perspective... and he’s able to go, β€˜Maybe I was wrong?’ That’s a pretty adult human response that I think a lot of our current leaders don’t necessarily have.”

It was a genius masterpiece and I'm really glad more and more people are waking up to that. Some news site recently speculated that Netflix might (hopefully!) think of buying it at some point in time and maybe then it can continue.

GNU Sir Terry. Discworld genuinely played a big role in raising me to be someone who tries their best to do the right thing for people in general. Sam Vimes, Susan Sto Helit and Granny Weatherwax are a hell of a bunch of role models for an impressionable teen.

Eleven years since you crossed the black sands. I wish I could say that the world is better than you left it (although it will always be better for having had you in it) but at least there is a new Young Sam to help carry on the Pratchett name and ethos. Love you always ❀️

We need to form our own opinions. We value quality, creativity and integrity. We care. About the world, and in most cases each other. We understand what nuance means and why it is important. We ask questions. We value respect. And we hate capitalism.
