I know what you mean. I did four Yarmouth’s the day I did the Norwich half!!!
Traditional start to holiday….
Good luck…
And the moon is made of green cheese.
Last time I was there was on a 116. But that was 1984!!!!
Vote Reform get....
We’d work the occasional ballast in there….long time ago.
Been a loooooonnnnnng time since I’ve been in there!!!!
Boom indeed!!!
You are so right. I open it every now and again just to see the comments🤣🤣
There is, on the flip side, an opinion that it’s nice to continue the old methods and ways and do ‘real’ railway work. Some of us enjoy it….
Now more details in the Epstein files reveal Bannon as part of a successful plot to topple Theresa May with Nigel Farage, Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg, here’s an article from the archive about Johnson and Bannon’s collaboration

It’s an idea that’s been tried in railway preservation for a few years. I know I was always an advocate for training guards from 16 so they could pass out, experienced, on or as near to their 18th birthday as possible. Drivers effectively start training at 18 when qualified to be fire/secondman.
18 year olds will not be driving trains. This is a way of getting drivers trained and competent in time to pass out at an admittedly earlier age than current….i think the idea is 20 rather than 21, but with an 18 month training regime with other qualifications or apprenticeships.
You wonder just how much they knew. 12 million to keep her quiet, agreed by the rest of them, all that’s gone on…no way am I saying they’re complicit in what he has *allegedly* done, but they are in the cover up.
Ooh….looks amazing!!
Could be!!
Went on a mate’s stag weekend there…brilliant place. Did a stop on a cruise once, on the bus through the city, said to Mel “oh look..that’s that great bar we found coming up” only to see it had turned into a sex shop…..that was embarrassing 🤣🤣
I do like both, admittedly!
Ahh…lounge!! I quite like the sparkling rose they have. And yes, it’s always 5 o clock somewhere!!!
Frothing at the mouth and acting crazy. But that’s me after a four Yarmouth’s🤣
I was pleasantly surprised last time I went to Leeds that they weren’t the a*se numbing seats I thought. They’re not the best, don’t get me wrong, but not the worst. 700’s and 387’s take that crown. But the mark 4’s are still better!!!
The email from HMRC sort of out a dampener on Monday. And Mondays weren’t bad enough….
Bit feisty at the end…
Afternoon shed turn allowed me to watch this. Talk about a game of two half’s!!!
I enjoyed reading this column, which somehow blames Keir Starmer for the result of an employment tribunal following laws passed under the Tory government regarding an incident and suspension that took place before the last election.
Have a good shift….overnight in Cambridge for me!!!
Overnight Cambridge….😴😴😴😴
Going to have a snooze before my night…one-off guest appearance.
