Remember to ask carers "how are you?" too. Only needs to take a moment or two. The amount of times you see carers becoming emotional just being asked how they are. It's such a tough role & services need to extend a bit of care & respect to carers too.

A girl and a boy rush excitedly towards the river. It is a cloudy day, but the sun is shining.

Please come back Jenni Murray and Jane Garvey to BBCR4 Woman's Hour. I've tried to like it since you went - and I do like Anita Rani and Nuala McGovern - but it just is not the compulsive listening that it once was.

It's good news if someone makes a medical recovery or gets the all clear, but this doesnt cancel out what a person may have been through & there still may need to be a period of psychologically coming to terms with everything that's happened & maybe a different sense of the future. This matters too.

Almost nobody in the media reported on the former Tory Government's sweeping power grab of the electoral commission. This week Labour have announced that they will reverse what Boris Johnson did and return the commission to independence.

Ofcourse Labour will get absolutely no credit for doing this

The Mail's hard Brexit effectively told non-European manufacturers that Britain no longer wanted to be their gateway to Europe.

Guess what?

Alfred Munnings was associated with the Newlyn School of artists in Cornwall between 1912 and 1914; this painting captures a spring night in the historic fishing village.

Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack.

Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections.

Andrew Tate has seemingly been taken into custody by Saudi Police for going all "Top G" on the Saudi border.

Hope he packed a spare mankini because they're not exactly famed for their liberal approach to that sort of thing.
