So I decided to go back and colour a gift sketch I had made for them last year to celebrate, and explore what we love about it
Forced into my daily routine
An original comic depicting two female twenty-somethings. They are anthropomorphic canines, one with blonde hair (Jenna) and golden brown fur and the other with grey fur and darker black hair (Dani). The scene begins in a coldly lit bedroom.Jenna sits on the bed by the open window with a lit cigarette trailing smoke outside. We see snow on the street below and on the branches of trees. Clothes lie strewn about the room, pillows and bedsheets are displaced. Dani is also on the bed, sitting up, and calling out - "Hey..." 2nd panel. Jenna has a sad, distant look on her face. Dani has two symmetrical piercings below her lower lip. Smoke goes trailing by, along with a light dusting of snowflakes in the air. "Pass that over again," Dani says. 3rd panel. The cigarette changes hands, but now we see that Dani is actually wearing a ring. "Didn't I tell you..." Jenna warns. "...not to get addicted..?" 4th panel. No dialogue but Dani wears a sad, contemplative expression after hearing Jenna.

Had this idea at 3 am and had to doodle it before going back to sleep.
