I’ve been taking a break from the publishing side of things lately. I’m still a working illustrator, I’ll just be focusing on other industries for a bit. I’m still developing book work behind the scenes but I’m burnt out on socials and I’m using my energy for creation instead of promotion for now ✌️

Thank you so much for participating Kristen! It’s so amazing to see this! I did my ruminating, sketching and planning during the event but didn’t have the draft yet. But today, though very sleep deprived, I managed to create my draft! The pieces were there! I surprised myself!

It's been really hard to feel inspired lately but today I felt like making something new and kind of different... and it felt fun again. #illustration #kidlitart

My partner in crime @gubgubgub.bsky.social is running this costumed life drawing session for all ages at Dobbs Ferry library’s Ferrycon tomorrow! Local friends, come draw with us!

He’ll be selling mini comics, screen prints and merch! There are other awesome vendors and events all day long too!

Summer is not quite done yet, but I just found some of my fall and Christmas art (done for Union square arts collective) out there in the world. Sur la table has my retro Santa’s on tableware and dollar tree has my little woodland fall critters!

This month has been busy. I finalized a dummy a long time in the making, made and sold some freelance prints, got buried and then crawled out from under paper work for adulting/ non kidlit related things…. But sadly what I did NOT do is a #kidlitartpostcard :( enjoying seeing everyone else’s though!
