Thanks for raising this. When I arrived at the market yesterday the bikes were already parked there and the market was due to close within a couple of hours. At that point it wasn't possible tor relocated them. I appreciate the importance of keeping the cycle lanes clear and undersand why people raised concerns. In this instance I chose to highlight the work of the volunteets from Greater Manchester Blood Bikes, who provide an incredible service transporting urgent medical supplies for the NHS free of charge. If there are future issues with access to the lane I'm always happy to look into them with the relevant teams. #greatermanchesterbloodbikes #keepupthegoodwork

There will be a another temporary closure/signed diversion in place on 12th/13th Feb on the TPT in Stockport between the M60 and the green footbridge for surface repairs where it is subsiding towards the river.

Another consultation, and another change to the A34 scheme. The original proposal – upgrading the existing underpass to allow for walking and cycling – instead becomes a SPARROW crossing.
