Congrats!
Congrats!
Cool work, @nichome.bsky.social! Congrats!
I ran into this issue with ggsankey before as well. Adapting the code suggested here did the trick for me:

#ggplot #ggplot2 #rstats
Fascinating work! π
New blog post!
Ever wonder what geom_histogram is actually doing? How about geom_boxplot?
In celebration of the release of #ggplot2 4.0.0 (ggplot8?), I explore the relationships between the βgeomsβ and βstatsβ offered by the core {ggplot2} functions.
#rstats
A wall full of colorful hex stickers from open source software packages.
On my way home from #positconf. It was wonderful to meet you all to talk data science and the like!

Our new paper, βA neural compass in the human brain during naturalistic human navigationβ is out in @sfnjournals.bsky.social! First-author @zhenganglu.bsky.social led the charge, with Josh Julian and collaborator @gkaguirre.com.

Congrats, that's wonderful!
What makes humans similar or different to AI? In a paper out in @natmachintell.nature.com led by @florianmahner.bsky.social & @lukasmut.bsky.social, w/ Umut GΓΌclΓΌ, we took a deep look at the factors underlying their representational alignment, with surprising results.

Mastering typefaces and fonts in #rstats has always been harder than it should.
I have tried to collect much of my relevant knowledge in this deep-dive blog post so you can spend your time picking the right typeface instead of cursing at the computer
Oh, very sorry to hear that. Such a wonderful dog!
Very cool. Congrats, @behrenstimb.bsky.social & @elife.bsky.social!
Thanks a lot, I'll check it out!
Really cool! Would be curious to have a glance at the code in case it's available somewhere
I promised to write about my thoughts on the status of the field of neuroAI, some of the big challenges we are facing, and the approaches we are taking to address them. This is super selective on the topic of finding a good model but in my view it affects the field as a whole. Here we go. π§΅
Yeah, sorry, I don't think I can create a gift link
If you read German and have access to SZ, this gives some interesting context:

Thanks for the shout-out, @stevenmweisberg.bsky.social! Indeed, the idea is to use distance estimates between learned positions to reconstruct cognitive maps.
πWhen teaching or giving a talk, do you like presenting plots step by step, revealing e.g. one group at a time? This is often useful for walking through complex results.
I made a R package that makes it extremely easy to do this!
ggreveal: Reveal a ggplot incrementally
#rstats #dataviz #ggplot2
Very cool! Congrats!
Wonderful! Congratulations!
Congrats!
The Open Science initiative at the MPI CBS has a few more resources that might be relevant www.cbs.mpg.de/en/cbs-open-...
Glad it's helpful. I'm a bit embarrassed of the code, this was the project I learned R with. Best of luck with the study!
