In response to ICE activity, Dormont last fall reiterated its policy of non-involvement with federal immigration enforcement. It’s good to see other municipalities take similar stances in response to blatant trampling of basic rights.

All incumbents facing reelection won their seats in 2022, except for Democrat James Malone in District 36, which held a special election earlier this year. Odd-numbered districts are not up for reelection next year. Republicans hold a 27-23 majority in the Senate. The ones that could flip are all in eastern Pennsylvania.
