Recently won a prize for my latest zine/essay, I should definitely publish it in English

Finally (!) Since I’ve read it, I’ve been looking for people to discuss it with. The way the story is woven is just mesmerizing

It kills the joy of sculpting the project as you go. What I want to draw, to create, is there (within the page) but still impossible to define by pompous empty words. It will change as the pencil steps on the paper, so let it be

ever so slightly" follows some episodes from trips I’ve took, people I’ve met, and conversations -past and ongoing- in which I find myself. These episodes are evoked alongside appropriated texts by Fernando Pessoa, that together narrate and construct events of the past, present, and future.

Freshest of news is my zine “tuas palavras minhas” or in ENG “ever so slightly” ✨

For now only available in Portuguese but I’m working on publishing the English version in the near future ✨

I loved making this book specially being my first big format (w/+100 pages) where I felt I rly had space to explore more and different things.
So I’m happy to see it reach people after four years!

I also had the pleasure of exhibiting my, yet-to-be-published work, “ever so slightly”, alongside some of the pictures I have taken over the years that feature in this comic.
As the comic is about the process of things, I finished the exhibition with a live drawing based on my experience there. ✍️

Last month, I participated in the PIC Conference in Kyiv, Ukraine, where I had the honor of presenting my personal work and Feira Autónoma, a small publishing fair that I organise in Almada (PT). ✨
