She might have stayed in Hawaii, except for meeting a handsome sailor from Waverly, TN. Their own families weren't too keen about an interracial marriage, but we're told they came around once there were some grandchildren for them to enjoy.

This issue has a complicated history and an uncertain future.
Be sure to tune in Wednesday at 6!

Old Hickory Dam (upstream of Nashville) is releasing a torrent of water. Why? They have to. Old Hickory Lake was not built with much room for water/flooding storage, so they have to release water downstream so homes along the lake (above the dam) don't flood.

Earlier this month, THP Trooper Declan Ryan spotted something on the interstate that may have prevented a major crash.
Upon closer inspection, the axle of a truck was being held together by a single ratchet strap!
We ride along with Trooper Ryan, at 5/6. @newschannel5plus.bsky.social
