Today I was ringing up a guy paying in cash. He was fishing around in his wallet for exact change but kept pulling out guitar picks. Eventually he found close-enough change and I gave him a nickel back and said, "I bet the members of the band Nickelback also carry around guitar picks." Got a laugh!
I get so many compliments on my earrings at work that I've started a tally to see which earrings are the fan favorites. It's too soon to share any conclusions but I'm having fun.

Today I rang up a guy who was buying a LOT of birdseed, and his shirt also had a picture of a bird on it. I asked him about it & learned that he feeds the wild birds around his house and they all know and love him now. Incredible.
