I cannot stop GUSHING on the action in this film.
Whereas many films of the era (and today) lazily put together setpieces that are hard to follow or visually unappealing,
Casino Royale gives heavy on the practicality!
Visceral hand to hand combat and parkour!?
THEY DID THAT!
Casino Royale was exactly what the franchise needed in 2006.
A true reinvention of the series while also taking great care to honor Fleming’s original book.
Daniel Craig’s standout performance as a young, brash, yet charming Bond is electrifying.
Folks really doubted this man!

Seen this countless times and remains my very favorite Bond flick but man,
It gets BETTER with age!
Brisk pacing leading from one scene to the next.
Raw and visceral action coupled with sleek dialogue.
And emotionally heavy.
So perfect.
