Er, blanket!
Er, blanket!
I appreciate the care Indy has taken to tuck gently *under* the towel on the bed. A classic manuever.
I went through and added up the total paid rents through our adopt-a-rent program, and it is 329 families for $463,217. All peer-to-peer, no fundraising. Just neighbors helping each other out.
If you want to adopt a family, and can afford to give $500 or more, signal me at asiniiwiikwe.72
Good news: sunny, coastal ancestry = Pirate Goth.
(This is why hanging out in the Outer Banks feels excellent, yar.)
This is so damn cool just for reading about each image. Thank you for sharing this thread!
Every day I wake up and deal with people romanticizing the early 2000s and making me feel old

A round-toe, black cotton mary jane sandal with a thin rubber sole. I think you used to be able to get them in packs of 3 at Pier 1. My god, the death grip these things had on teenage/20-something suburban girls in 1994.
Was trying to figure out why the Gen Zish trend of wearing overpriced mary jane flats to the office was weirding me out, then remembered how 99% of my female friends in high school tore their feet to shreds in these bad boys. #DontDoIt
Had a deposit down to go to the summer program here in 1993. Decided I was burnt out from area band festivals that year and asked to not go.
Thank. Fuck.
Things I would million to one rather my tax dollars fund than the bullshittery going on in this country currently.
I regularly see people wondering how it's possible that there are so many musicians and writers and film makers and artists from a tiny nation like Iceland.
And the answer is really simple: State funding for art education and artists. I literally get a salary from the government to write books.
PLEASE MOVE THIS ITALIAN MAN CLOSER TO US SO WE CAN BUY HIM FLOUR IN TRADE FOR BREAD plznthx π #RobertosBakeryBestInQueenAnne
Let the record show that LA also has a Black Cat, but it's a fancy cocktail bar with a very different logo. So like, WTH?
I pass a Black Cat punk bar in Belltown in Seattle regularly that has a logo that's damn similar to the DC Black Cat logo and yet nothing on the internet is talking about them being related. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

The highest possible non-food highlight of any walk: Stranger Pets! (Once Bowie got treats-with-consent *and* pets from a Stranger Lady and almost combusted.)
Every time I have to consider COBRA coverage, I just open the rates document and LOL. Like, how can this be presented as a workable solution for 99% of the population?! Goddamn.
Oh noooo to the two additionals!!!
Most definitely had a work trip or two where I traveled with one and a ziplock of coffee I panic-ground while waiting on the uber to arrive. π #CaffeineAlways
