I understand why the Gein series wasn't very liked. It was basically a big academic fuck you to the exploitation critique. Tbh, it was pretty smart on what it wanted to be. It just wasn't what the previous seasons were, and people didn't get what they expected or wanted. m.imdb.com/title/tt1320...

I watched this one for the day 8. boxd.it/RfNC Pretty ok story. Lot of things did not make any sense. Mostly about how chars acted incoherently in different situations. It felt like a really well made Halloween haunt that I would love to visit. 😂 Idk what that says about the film though. #horrorsky

I just finished The Long Walk, and it was one of the best films that I have seen in a long time. Movies rarely have this much emotional impact on me. boxd.it/mic8

There's an outdoor sunset showing of The Lost Boys in my hometown. So obviously, we are here with a flask full of Jack Daniels. They are using the original 80s tech to make it more authentic. #horrorsky
Body horror was really well made. The story itself was quite unpolished. I need to mull it a bit before I can form an opinion about it.

This was fun. The first films in the series had lots more anarchy in them but still. Rip Tony Todd. He improvised the death and the meaning of life speech in this one. Everyone knew he was sick and the directors encouraged him to say what he wanted no matter what the script said. boxd.it/l5y4

Third is the worst of the four, for sure.
I have come to the conclusion that I like the Critter puppets more than the Gremlins.

Rewatching boxd.it/24Sk It's been a long time and first time watch for the wife. Fantastic cast even in the small roles. Recognised Scott Grimes immediately. Looks amazing considering the 2M budget. So much explosions. Fun hommages, like the -58 Blob scene. I still love this. #horrorsky
