Nice sighting of the yellow rumped warbler, Carmel. The picture became more revealing when I cropped it to just feature the bird.

I enjoy all bird photos, but especially birds in action: flying, eating, mating, and caring for their young. I like beautiful backgrounds like falling water, sunrises, and fog. I don’t think that I have a strong preference for any particular plumage.

I appreciate that you share your images.

In 1986, when I was a freshman studying physics, I asked my grandpa what he remembered about the 1910 sighting of Hayley’s Comet. Some people had panicked. I wondered if the outcry would have reached him, though he was just 6 years old then. Unfortunately for me, he had no recollection of the comet.
