Tried out woodcarving and it was fun!! Really challenging with the fine detail tho. Ended up with a rather unfortunately phallic-looking hibiscus after accidentally chipping away the second row of flower bits π
It deserves more hype for sure!
Started watching Gachiakuta and I'm so digging the art style! The animation is impeccable, I hope it maintains consistency til the end
Also ep3 comedy is pure gold π
I watched 12 Angry Men not knowing what to expect and hot damn, it was absolutely rivetting. Not a single moment felt draggy, the pacing and build up of tension was perfection. What an incredible study of character, each of these unnamed men were such distinct personalities!

Man, I know my outreach here is limited but I just got laid off at 2K after working on BioShock 4 for a year and a half. To say I'm gutted is a complete understatement.

Here's the progression reel of how this piece took me 4 years; just a lethal combination of artblock, procrastination, and indecision. But it's also pretty satisfying to see how it all came together in the end.
I went through horrible artblock (anim block?) for years and finally mustered the will to blaze through most of it in the past 2 months. It's honestly a relief to be done with this! This piece has evolved a ton since it first started.
