Yes; the effects of drift do show up in our analysis, but we only had information of the immediately adjacent field, and a generalist index of pesticide use (TFI) in the county, so we are missing information on the other fields at the more local level
And because one good news comes with another, this other excellent paper, also led by another great ♀️postdoc @cbgpmontpellier.bsky.social with @g-fried.bsky.social was also published today 🧪🌐on agricultural intensification & ecosystem services by 🌿

This paper is far overdue, so I am very happy to finally see it published! We show that herbicides have noticeable impacts on plant communities in agroecological landscapes at the national level. Must read!
