Yamlscript is like Clojure reborn as a Python killer yamlscript.org

It’s carbon that was captured from a refinery though, so it’s a bit better from what I can see

Thinking about OpenCypher & Gremlin, one is far more like SQL than the other. Lots of advantages there.

Hello, UIx!

Projects made for their own sake are good for the soul… here’s my most recent, if you’re interested. I call it connected colors; a self coloring art piece. Click to apply color danielmartincraig.github.io/connected-co...

Clojure for the times when you want to move fast, more conventional languages for the times when you want to write an app that your teammates won’t be suspicious of.

Clojure experience is preparation for thinking about software architecture. With minimal syntax you can build a system. It’s a good education

Connect components labeling without mutable state with Clojure’s tree-seq, is it possible?

Clojure is pretty small on Bluesky it seems. Wasn’t Pitch on here last week? Did they leave? I wanted to @ them about a project I made using uix

And the tool would intelligently suggest how your blocks could be grouped into forms that are actual production lego technic parts, I.e. 3 of part 18654 in a line would make a 3L liftarm (part 32523)

13.08.2023 02:43 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Then, you could put partial technic elements together like snapping square blocks onto the bare lines of your design.

Consider that lego technic models have relatively straightforward geometries; parallel beams, triangles, etc. The tool I want would let you draw out those geometries to form bucket loaders, bulldozers, car chassis, forklifts, etc, in very bare lines.

Lego technic software thread: I want to write a cad tool for designing lego technic models, with spring physics and motors and gears and interactivity.
