I'm having a truly cursed time of it recently. Laptop's currently plugged into a monitor via hdmi because the display was knackered. Been running fine in all other respects.
Worked on some writing for a couple of hours this morning.
Shut it down and went for a walk.

Yeah, the damned auto-moderation is becoming truly frustrating.

My personal bugbear is when colourful remarks that aren't insulting get muted. It doesn't happen every time but any time is too many.

Sometimes you just have to pick a relatively unused emoji and give it new meaning. Like I use the 🍞 emoji in my discord server as a way of saying "seen, acknowledged, affirming you exist" and I've slowly converted other people to using it for the same thing.

Sounds about right for him. I remember my problem really clearly; he was being an asshole regarding some interview that Zerlina Maxwell had given, and made this claim that fans of his basically all agreed and I had to interject at thhat point.
And this was pre-GG, too.

Basically still count that as a win for me over that mangy scrote of a man.

Anyway, I'm not excited for a Firefly revival.

Fortunately a couple of people had been acreenshotting the exchange for their own amusements, and I was able to prove it had been a conversation and not one-sided. But it took like two weeks of appealling and emailing their support to get that sorted.

I went to bed happy that I'd demonstrated what a twisted asshole he is. Woke up the next morning and my account had been suspended.
Because. I'd been reported for harassment.
He'd deleted all his tweets. So it just looked like I'd been @'ing him for three hours.

Y'know, my proudest moment back on twitter was when Adam Baldwin spent three hours going back and forth with me about sexism and he admitted that he didn't believe husbands sexually assaulting their wives counted as rape.

Whedon is trash, Fillion and Tudyk rushed to defend him, Baldwin...less said the better.
Maybe a reboot with no connections to them, that didn't just use chinese culture as set dressing?
