29) Jack Jack's Escape
JJE presents all the parts for a simple puzzle game, but it only barely starts to experiment with them. It needed more levels and possibly another transformation or 2 to be called one of the greats 😔.
Instead, it feels like a baby game 👶

If you've ever wondered about Chinese historical dramas, this can work really well as an entry. The lead struggles with his loyalty to the higher court, promises made to the common people, and other confucian/taoist philosophical questions common in the genre. Doing it all well

I fell asleep during the first two films I tried watching (11:30 PM flight) but this kept me on the edge of my seat. I started doubting if the monster existed or not. It made ballsy moves, like having almost no dialogue for the first 20 or so minutes.

Sorry fellow YouTube analysis dudes, I think we need to think twice on talking how long a game takes if we've played it since we were 7.

I'm listening to videos about R&C games by multiple people just to get the idea of what the longtime fans think of each now. Anytime they mention game length I think "holy shit, that took me way longer" and now I get what people think when I talk about how short Sonic or KH games can be.

The skates & jet pack combo just feels so good. I complained about the button layout at first, but by the very fast to reach middle, everything felt natural. Except strafing, that should've stayed how Future did it.
It fused the good of Future 1&2 without the bad. Sucks that RA probably resets a lot
