I will be disappointed if you aren't in each other's "waiting" photos.
You'll see a typical Jason "Waiting" picture and think "Shouldn't I be there?" 8-)
Woah! That's quite a trek.
Any part of side two really, as you probably know as you've probably read my article in the last @assistant.bandcamp.com fanzine.
Blimey!
My dad used to commute from Leeds to St Albans in the mid 70s. I'd completely forgotten about that until now.
Jealous! They're doing lots of new material so should have an album out in the near future.
Yeah Yeah Noh!
Are the Guardian really suggesting people commute from Doncaster to London?
I haven't got a Moby Grape song, but I have got a song from a member of Moby Grape.

The past 24 hours have shown me that there are fantastic people in the world, both near and far, and they should be cherished and honoured for the works they do in our lives.
Thank you friends.
You know who you are.
Love and multiple blessings.
Holy heck, Fugazi just released the 1992 Albini sessions for Bandcamp Friday! Proceeds going to Letters Charity.
Fresh Ingredients is an indiepop radio show that goes out every Sunday at 7pm on untidyradio.com. This flyer is a nice old postcard of a lighthouse.
Episode 15 of Fresh Ingredients on Sunday is trundling slowly into view. Songs from @redcavalry.bsky.social, @shopfiresmusic.bsky.social, Pulp, @thelovelybasement.bsky.social, The Thorn, @theclientele.bsky.social and @somehappything.bsky.social plus loads more, and a sort of salty peaceful vibe.
Oh look, it's another live tape by The Kingsbury Manx - this is 2003 with an emphasis on "Aztec discipline" / "Afternoon owls" material.
It's too late for me to listen now so I'm posting to come back to it tomorrow

In the meantime, here's this week's Young Punctum upgrade - April 1974, with tons of additional material, some of it possibly remembered only by me:

"How Soon Is Now In A Minute?" is a song by Welsh rock band βThe Jonsesβ, written by singer Morysy, it was originally a B-side of the 1984 single of βMeat Is Merthyrβ.
Didn't realise they had a new one out, loved their previous music. I will add it to my list. Thanks for the tip.
Best news I've heard all day.
From listening intently to his other albums he doesn't really have his own style (unintended pun) other than his voice. But I've always enjoyed his music and found it occasionally quite moving.
Nope. But the notes call it "I gaze" so I'm googling that.

Mixed by John McEntire, cover by the wonderful @zebko.bsky.social
The new single from @shapeslikepeople.bsky.social is absolutely glorious.
Those chorus chord changes are sublime, and you know I'm a sucker for a heart stopping chord change. Lush harmonies too.
I'm really looking forward to their forthcoming album.

Sure it won't win but this is great. The bump to a swing-ish rhythm towards the end is a swerve I didn't anticipate. I'm convinced there's an Acorn Electron on the desk at the start.
I have the date for the initial Eye Gaze meeting - 17th February 2025. Graham Sutton Fleece Guy - where are you now?

I'm reading my critical care diary slowly. Some nurses have written what music they played me. I'm sure Pink Floyd helped with my drugged out visions. Radio 2 is mentioned as well, which is odd because one vision revolves around listening to a folk music show on R2!
13 years since the last Kingsbury Manx album landed on my doorstep.
