IDGAF which one is used, the real issue is having to switch from one to the other twice a year
Maybe it appears to be the desire to be popular
Yet perhaps itβs really the desire to not get harassed and/or bullied
Itβs unimaginable how dangerous it would be to have the capability to time travelβ¦ someone might go back, inadvertently change something in the past that recreated extensive sequences of events, ultimately resulting that they no longer existed.
Another claim is that hydrogen with oxygen got us to the moon⦠arguably the vehicles are essentially single-use disposable fuel tanks; and other, more economical & environmental alternatives are being researched
I appreciate your optimism; hereβs the issues to solve: actually making hydrogen from water is the easy part, the difficult part is to make the hydrogen portable. It has to be highly compressed into a container similar to a scuba tank.
The claims that βhydrogen is the most abundant substance in the universe,β and βthe exhaust is waterβ seem like positivesβ¦ except H2 isnβt really a fuel, but a storage medium; and pollution caused by autos is as bad from their production as it is from their operation
Thereβs a corridor of stations between San Francisco, Sacramento, and Los Angeles; thanks to Governor Schwartznegger
The horses could be robots
Toyota (or a third-party) could conceivably recall the cars (if the consumers loved the cars enough, or to keep them out of the scrap heap for environmental reasons) and replace the fuel cell with the latest battery chemistry. (Toyota is claiming to have a new battery with amazing properties)
Years ago, one of my pals converted a diesel car to run on waste fryer oil, using a refiner he made out of an old water heater in his garage. The process by-produced glycerin, which turned out to be more valuable as a soap ingredient than the fuel it produced
What works for EV tech is that people can easily βrefuelβ at home; using PV panels, small wind turbines, micro-hydro, or even off-peak grid power. This is not in the interests of big energyβ¦
They push hydrogen because it enables them to maintain a piece of the action.
If itβs possible to electrolyze water into hydrogen and oxygen with electricity, then it could be done with photovoltaics
Yes! And it can't come soon enough!
SCOTUS torching the tariffs⦠now THIS is the type of distraction from the Epstein files that actually works!
YES! I wholeheartedly support blue states banning together to COLLECT our federal income taxes to hold in escrow for release upon fair, open midterm elections! WE CANβT TRUST 47 AND HIS THUGS TO LEAVE OUR ELECTIONS ALONE! States should use their National Guard to protect polls, ballot boxes from 47!
Even though itβs now called βPresidentβs Day,β itβs limited to a Monday mash-up of celebrating George Washingtonβs and Abraham Lincolnβs birthdays, which I can remember were previously separate holidays.
It has NOTHING TO DO with the current WH occupier⦠Please keep it this way!
After an initial reduction of inhibitions, sex becomes progressively more difficult the more one drinksβ¦ so if the goal is to not reward this unnecessary manipulative behavior, you might try becoming sufficiently inebriated that it ainβt gonna happen
IMO itβs better being in a void; fewer objects to crash into
Makes sense, donβt really know the official intent of this rule
Yep I think itβs icing when the puck crosses three of the lines that go across the rink, untouched
Considering converting to Islam for the sole purpose of owning them
Hockey βicingβ is when the puck gets whacked too far down the rink
Itβsβ¦ semantics.
When you say βrescue,β in this context, most people know exactly what you mean.
Thereβs a lot of words like this
Art by Steve Cousineau
After all, the greater Southern California area⦠not just Los Angeles & San Diego, but roughly a triangle formed by Point Arguello, San Ysidro, and Las Vegas at its corners⦠is larger as the Netherlands and Denmark in both area and population
I've never seen the moon
gaze at you as I doβ
while always watching
she looks on everyone
I've never known rain
to fall just for you,
though it often pours
it's to the rivers it flows
Yet I
have lit the night
just to find your eyes
And I have cried rivers
longing for your arms.
