Like how CZE and FIN made extreme forechecking tradeoffs to prevent any rushes, USA is giving up counterattacking to keep pucks outside

The USA blueline does such a good job of defending in space and also never making mistakes on retrievals. Every guy can just effortlessly take a puck off the wall to the extent that it’s basically impossible for them to make a bad play to each other. Not much you can do to game plan around that
Not bad honestly. Played on the front foot, dictated pace. Gonna have to do a better job of working pucks low and breaking down structure, but unfortunately your opponent is 90% guys that just do not get broken down
