Honestly, my first would’ve been a stillborn and quite possibly my second as well.
It’s about the death of Shakespeare’s son and the belief it inspired the play Hamlet.
Just sobbing watching Hamnet. Reminded yet again just what a privilege it is to live with modern medicine. Just 100 years ago 2 of my children would’ve wasted away and died in horrible anguish from disease.
That’s a decent option as long as the stench doesn’t reach the house. Hopefully something Carrie’s it away for you tonight 🙏🏻

But I also think we should find the “good life” of the world challenged by what Jesus tells us is the “good life” of His Kingdom.

Yep. I forget what the lowest one is called but it feels way harder to gauge my child’s comprehension levels in a given subject.
I hate that the grading up until high school is now basically a performance review. Literally the “grades” are like “meeting” approaching” and “exceeding”.
I’ll take it further. If what they do or say is in Christ’s name, and those actions do not look or sound like him; then they are taking the Lord’s name in vain.
It’s one of my top 5 favourites of all time. I love it so much.

My family watched ER when I was younger. I’ve never seen the first few seasons though. I’m enjoying it. I’m loving The Pitt as well.
Watching through ER and I noticed Quentin Tarantino directed the episode I just watched. He got one like 3 minute foot shot in plus another shorter one. Go figure. 🙈
The book of Revelation is meant to reveal something to us about God. It is not meant to reveal some hidden plan about the fate of the United States.
I feel like a) it’s your cat now and b) if you still feel bad you could tell her how much all the meds and care cost. That in and of itself may dissuade her.
Woke up feeling pretty OK then I saw people in my newsfeed scolding anyone who criticizes the war in Iran because women are oppressed by the regime there. WE KNOW, we just don't think bombing the country will un-oppress them.
Had to go to work early to do month end cash counting so very plain look today. Just been binging ER this afternoon.
The 90’s really were wild. I started watching ER on Netflix and the way that kids of patients are just left to wander around the ER while waiting for their parents. Also that parents could leave the entire hospital while their child was in the ER to go get things from home.
It’s wild. 😭
Was going to get chicken thighs today… they were $20.54/kg. That’s about $9.33/lbs. Chicken THIGHS! 😭😭😭 gonna have to find some good lentil and/or bean recipes…
We just saw it. We enjoyed it. Cheesy like all late franchise entries but a lot of fun!
