UPDATE: Ginny Marvin of Google Ads replied to original poster and me that this is not new and not for everything
And if you haven't heard... Google Ads now makes you check a required box granting Google reps authorization to make changes in your ads account in order to open a support ticket with humans.

I have good private insurance.
I knew it could be expensive cause it was $350 last year. Hence me looking up coupons prior to going to pharmacy.
That is a 4x price increase.
But they will also take way less.
Make it make sense (you can't - our system is so messed up).
Paxlovid rang up at $1484.89 today - not a typo. Ended up getting it for $0 cause I had printed a copay card from Pfizer ahead of time & pharmacist worked her magic, but WTF????
Anyone who thinks insurance companies will save us from bad vax policy is deluding themselves.

Longer searches are more likely to produce an AI summary. Just 8% of one- or two-word searches resulted in an AI summary. But that share rose to 53% for searches with 10 words or more. A bar chart showing that Questions and longer search queries are more likely to produce AI summaries. Other types of searches that tend to result in AI summaries include: Searches that form questions: 60% of search queries that began with question words such as βwho,β βwhat,β βwhenβ or βwhyβ resulted in an AI summary. Searches that use full sentences: 36% of searches that include both a noun and a verb generated an AI summary.
This bit was particularly interesting too as Google relies on ad clicks for the bulk of their revenue. How will they monetize the AI Overview experience if it leads to fewer clicks?
Sure hope it isn't charging even more for the clicks on non AI Overview pages...
Interesting study from Pew Research about clicking behavior when AI Overviews were present.
People click less when overview is shown. How will Google monetize this cause their current model relies on clicks on ads...
