Every project I work on (even this very silly talk show about Warrior Cats) is political because I'm aware of the world around me. And I'm aware when the stuff I'm reading is making a political point.

I wish more people playing TTRPGs read the games thoroughly and made a point of understanding what the game is trying to do before playing. GMs and players both. I love Actual Play. I love one-shots. But neither are going to teach the game better than reading and analyzing the actual game text.

People play Brindlewood Bay for "grannies solving mysteries" and sometimes add "plus a sprinkle of horror" but I almost never see people talk about how the whole game revolves around feminine horror *specifically* and how well it does that.
